At the age of 29, a long harbored desire got wings and Sonam started her journey as a plus size model and a body positivity influencer. She had always dreamt of being an actor like many other Indian girls because of the obvious reason that one grows up watching Bollywood movies and one is so influenced by the larger than life por trayal of the simplest of things and the many lives they touch. Unfortunately, she didn’t have the courage to act in front of the camera so she chose modeling, it came easy to her.
Instagram being the most convenient with the highest reach was her first choice as the perfect platform to reach out to her audience - the plus size community in India and abroad. She started in June 2018 and got an overwhelming response from people and brands. Since, then she haven’t looked back.
